suggested gear for trips

 

This list provides a basic list of stuff to bring for one of our camping trips, it in no way is comprehensive and does not include everything which may be required.

Use your judgement and remember, pack what you can carry.

Ropes and anchors are provided.

STUFF To BRING:

IDENTIFICATION (YES, CANADA IS A FOREIGN COUNTRY)

BACKPACK (Or similar Duffle bag for clothes and stuff)

DAYPACK/ small backpack:

For Use on Day Hikes, to aid in carrying extra water, food, and gear.

FLASHLIGHT (with Batteries already installed)

2 WATER BOTTLES / CANTEEN (You'll Need More than 1 for the Hike)

Tent / Tarp and hammock

Sleeping bag

SUNSCREEN

sunglasses

Rain Gear (Poncho)

gloves

coat/Jacket

hiking boots / bouldering shoes

climbing equipment

including harness, carabiners, belay devices, climbing shoes, chalk bag

IF YOU NEED RENTALS, INFORM team RCI at least 1 week prior to Departure

pants/shirts/socks/jeans

pack for the weather but pack warm stuff also for cold nights

hat :for sun and maybe one for cold

Insect Repellent

Toiletries

Towel

snacks for the ride

Money (bring enough to last, it will be exchanged during Lion's HEAD TRIp for CANADIAN Money)

 

Food will be purchased at the destination the morning after arrival.

RCIB will bring ropes, anchors, first aid kit, vehicles, and extra stuff just in case you forget something.
